Emergency Care
The Sanford Hospital Luverne Emergency Department provides emergency care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Emergency Department is staffed with registered nurses who are certified in Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Physicians are on call 24-hours a day. Support staff is available 24-hours a day to assist physicians with diagnosis and treatment.

The Ambulance Department is professionally staffed with one full-time paramedic and 15 part-time Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). The Rock County Ambulance of Sanford Hospital Luverne is directed by Timothy P. Ceynowa, MD.
