APRIL - Charity Dinner & Auction
Hospice's largest event and fundraiser! An Annual Charity Dinner & Auction is held each April to raise money to support hospice care for patients/families who are unable to pay for services. The event includes a delicious catered meal, and fabulous silent and live auctions. Donations of cash, merchandise, and advertisements are accepted from businesses and individuals. Advance tickets are sold through the hospice office.

JUNE - Annual Tree Dedication Ceremonies
Sanford Hospice Luverne remembers those who have died during the past year while in the hospice program by dedicating a tree in their memory. Trees are planted in Luverne and several surrounding communities. Family members are invited to attend a short dedication ceremony which includes music and reading the names of those being remembered by the hospice team.

DECEMBER - Hospice Tree of Lights
Sanford Hospice Luverne holds its Trees of Lights program in five area communities. The evergreen tree is a symbol of life and hope. Decorated with the lights of the holiday season, it is transformed into a wonderful community memorial. Donations of $5 per bulb will light a symbolic light on a Christmas tree "in memory" or "in honor" of a friend or loved one. The trees are lit during a dedication ceremony held at each location, and remain lit throughout the holiday season. Hospice family members and the public are invited to attend.

Non-Event Fundraisers:
Memorial Bricks may be engraved and added to the memorial pathway in the garden at The Cottage. Cost: $120 each brick.

Angel Pendants are available for purchase in memory of a loved one. Inquire at the hospice office for sales.
